WOW Fall - God the Father
Women of the Well kicked off its third year of ministry with a fall Gathering on October 24. The fall theme was carried through decorations, including Scripture verse scrolls attached to a mini-pumpkins at each place setting.
Guest speaker, Barbara Markland, encouraged participants to remember that because of His love, God created each one of us for His pleasure. Barbara applied Jesus' parable of the Prodigal son (Luke 15:11-24) to reveal the heart of God the Father to us. She concluded her presentation with an actual crown of thorns from Jerusalem to illustrate God's great love for us that "...he gave His one and only Son, that however believes in him shall not perish but have everlasting life." (John 3:16)
